• In the case of road works on large areas of terrain, it is possible to use large-sized road equipment, for example, road rollers, but when the area of the work site is measured in square meters, it is most advisable to use a vibrating plate. Small dimensions and weight allow vibrating plates to solve the problems of leveling and ramming the soil no worse than "their older brothers". In addition, the use of vibration blocks is directly shown when paving courtyards, pedestrian paths, etc.

• The device of the vibrating plate is quite simple. The frame in the upper part of which the engine is installed and the lower working surface or sole. Also in the upper part there is a control handle, to which the shock absorbers are adjacent.

• Two main characteristics can be distinguished: the frequency and amplitude of vibrations during vibration. For example, to seal bulk surfaces such as crushed stone, gravel or sand, it is worth using vibrating plates with a higher oscillation frequency. And for compaction of natural soil, the amplitude parameter is most important. A vibrating plate with a large amplitude of vibrations has a shock absorption system to facilitate the control of the vibrating plate.
